Hello, new student!
Welcome to the Skripti ry freshmen page. On this page, you will find information to help you get started with your studies and links to useful websites. Also, check out the tutor introductions!
- If you have not yet accepted your study place or registered at the university, you can do so at Opintopolku.
- If you do not yet have housing in Joensuu, you can apply for a student apartment from Joensuun Elli.
- Apply for student financial aid and general housing allowance from Kela.
- Once your right to study is valid, you can activate your UEF credentials, which you will need for all of the university's electronic systems. Instructions for activation can be found here.
- Order a student card to get discounts on, for example, meals and travel. Card ordering and a list of discounts can be found here.
- Download the Tuudo application on your phone. Learn more about the app on the Tuudo website.
- Familiarize yourself with the University of Eastern Finland's guide for new students.
- You can find a greeting from the Department of Computer Science here.
- Student-priced meals are offered by numerous Fazer Food & Co restaurants around the campus.
