Congratulations on your study place and welcome to study Computer Science (TKT) at the University of Eastern Finland, Joensuu campus. We are eagerly looking forward to creating a memorable freshman year for you. To ensure your first steps as a freshman go as smoothly as possible, Skripti's tutors are ready to help you. You can recognize us by our silver-gray overalls, which we wear with pride. The tutors' role is to support and guide freshmen in their first steps of their studies. Below are the introductions of this year's tutors. Tutors are available to help even before the studies begin, so feel free to contact us.

Hey! I'm Mirko Kaukonen, a 22-year-old guy, and I'm starting my second year of computer science studies. I'm from here in Joensuu, so if you have any questions about the city, I'm happy to help! In my free time, I play on the computer, edit videos or photos, and actively participate in student events! I'm also Skripti's communications and social media officer, so you can ask about board-related matters too! Congratulations again on your study place and see you in the fall!
Hi! I'm Vilma, a 20-year-old second-year computer science student. I'm originally from Kouvola and ended up in Joensuu because of my studies. My free time is often spent gaming or with music. I'm also the treasurer on Skripti's board, and you can often find me in the student association's room or at student events. Hi! My name is Antti and I'm from Joensuu. I'm starting my second year of computer science studies in the fall, and this is my first time as a tutor. In my free time, I like to play on the computer or watch series and movies, but my dearest hobbies are running and cooking. Hello! I'm Miikka, a 24-year-old computer science student. I'm originally from Kitee, but I moved to Joensuu in 2021 for my studies. My goal is to start my master's studies in computer science this year. I'm also currently working on my bachelor's thesis in information processing at Karelia University of Applied Sciences. My free time consists mostly of gaming, sports, and unfinished programming projects. Hello, and first of all, congratulations on your study place! I'm Siiri-Sofia, a third-year computer science student who found her way from Jyväskylä to Joensuu. You'll recognize me by my slightly different overalls, as I also study at the business school, so my overalls are two-colored.
